The Position

The Direct Material Management Chapter is globally responsible for the quality management of direct materials and associated documents.

As an intern, you are a valuable member of the team and you are encouraged to add a great contribution. Depending on the team, tasks will be related to Direct Material Specification creation, Certification of our Products and/or supporting projects managed by our Team.

Your activities will be:

Be a member of a global team responsible for the qualification and monitoring of suppliers across all sites, indications and platforms (small molecules, biologics, medical devices etc.). Support and get assignments for internal and global tasks such as

  • Support on preparation of global material specifications and certificates

  • Support stakeholder related projects like reduce testing programm

  • Support the Certification Team by establishing product relevant certifications

  • Support teh DMM Team in contionious improvement projects

Who you are

  • To be eligible for an internship lasting 12 months, you must either be currently enrolled at a university preferably in the field of life sciences (chemistry, biology, pharmacy), data science or another degree or you completed your studies within the last 12 months, prior the start date.

  • You are looking for an interesting and versatile internship for 12 months in the pharmaceutical industry and interested to experience a modern working environment.

  • For Non-EU/EFTA citizens: due to regulations, you must provide a mandatory letter issued by your university stating that a 12 months internship is mandatory for your studies. Please upload this mandatory letter and your enrollment certificate along with your CV and motivation letter.

You will bring along the following profile for this internship:

  • Interest in technical processes and stakeholder management

  • Excellent organizational skills and a flexible approach to coordinate demanding workloads as well as the ability to adapt to changes

  • Ability to work effectively and independently within a diverse group of people

  • Very good Microsoft Office skills

  • Very good English skills required and good German skills desirable

The internship is not suitable for writing a Bachelor’s/ Master’s Thesis.
