Senior Specialist - Merchandise Planner, EMEA

On is taking the global sports footwear, apparel, and accessories market by storm with cutting-edge tech and innovative products. We are seeking a Merchandise Planner to quantify and transform On’s product strategy for the EMEA region into actionable and accountable plans. You will work in collaboration with our Merchandising and Sales teams to ensure we have the right plans to reach every consumer who wants On.

Your Mission

  • Drive future seasonal product forecasts with the regional sales leads to maximize opportunities and minimize product liability, validating projections using both sales history, market intelligence, customer input and brand ambitions.
  • Collaborate with DTC merchandise planners to align seasonal plans across channels, leveraging our product segmentation across our multiple consumer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with VM and Sales Planning to support account managers in translating sales budgets into seasonal assortment plans to allocate product across our B2B top Accounts and distributor markets.
  • Manage the development of annual and seasonal merchandise forecasting for categories including top-down/bottom-up level plans for sales, inventory (phase-in and phase-out), style counts, productivity, and margin across pre-season, in-season and postseason.
  • Partner with regional merchandisers to develop and propose business tactics in response to current business trends, advising them on open-to-buy, optimum unit purchasing, etc.
  • Routinely presents recommendations and other analyses to senior leadership and executive management related to driving short and long-term business goals including franchise, pricing, product, silhouettes or color/pattern trends, etc.
  • Manages, maintains, and communicates all seasonal forecasting tools across all 3 product categories (Shoes, Apparel and Accessories) with close collaboration with Controlling, Supply & Demand Planning Teams.
  • Lead Monthly Merchandising Budget Tracking reviews with Sales Planning for: re-distribution, re-forecast sales, stock and markdowns, review and action OTB.
