What you will do
Are you as passionate about future of Smart Buildings as we are? Join us as a Digital Strategy & Competitive Intelligence Manager who can drive the expansion and transformation of our Digital business. Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Management and Competitive Intelligence, this role offers high visibility to C-level leaders and significant growth potential.
At Johnson Controls, we are dedicated to shaping a future that prioritizes safety, comfort, and sustainability. Our Johnson Controls OpenBlue software offers cutting-edge digital solutions for Sustainable, Smart, and Healthy Buildings.
You will lead strategic analyses and processes for Market & Competitive Intelligence. You will work closely with teams such as Product Management and Digital Commercial, acting as a trusted advisor to create a competitive advantage that promotes global footprint expansion, customer adoption, and subscription renewal. Additionally, depending on business priorities, you may support the improvement and execution of strategic processes and coordinate selected strategic initiatives.
How you will do it
- Lead competitor and market-wide analyses and derive actionable insights.
- Support analyses for leadership and strategic processes improvement.
- Manage relationships and submissions to external research firms.
- Review market reports to expand organizational knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Coordinate selected strategic projects.
Required profile:
What we look for
- Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, such as top management consulting, corporate strategy, or high-growth startups.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, attention to detail, solid project management skills, technical affinity in the areas of smart buildings or digital solutions.
- Ownership and accountability, proactive can-do attitude, strong presentation and communication skills, excellent interpersonal and networking abilities, ambition for personal and professional growth, collaborative and inclusive approach, adept at dealing with uncertainty, ability to formulate independent opinions, passion for the digital industrial space.
- Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
