In partnership with one of our highly esteemed clientele, a well-established Asset Manager based in Geneva, we are currently searching for a:

Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

The successful individual will lead and define the investment strategy of the entire group. Thus, become responsible for the asset allocation. The individual in question will simultaneously manage the private wealth and the three main funds' strategies (bonds, equities, balanced) including their implementation across all managed portfolios.

In order to fulfill the role of CIO, one will also be required to;

  • Take charge of the asset management (advisory & discretionary mandates) and provide support to the existing relationship managers.
  • Define the modelling investment strategy based on the company's open architecture.
  • Ensure that all advisory is in line with the group's investment policy.
  • Provide all relative discretionary consulting for existing clientele and to be at ease with the prospection of new clients for the groups expansion.
  • Assume the lead of 12 asset managers.
By taking charge of the investment committee, you will maintain the image of the brand by becoming the public representative of the company. In addition, you will draft the monthly media communication outlining the planned investment strategies of the group and lead conferences and seminars as required.

In order to successfully become the Chief Investment Officer, we are looking to meet an extremely adept individual who has a strong macro-economic background, excellent quantitative and analytical skills and first-class literacy skills which will have manifested itself in the acquisition of a PhD or Master degree in economics or finance from a top-tier university.

You will also be required to;
  • Have a minimum of 15 years working experience in the banking industry.
  • Demonstrate the ability to cope and thrive within a fast paced environment.
  • Prove that you are a team player with remarkable interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English.
