Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the global obsolescence management of the SKAN group
  • Identification of obsolete material and potential successor parts
  • Performing impact assessments on customer equipment
  • Ensure spare parts related documentation is constantly updated
  • Being the point of contact for technical information demands regarding spare parts
  • Creating 1:1/Like-for-Like statements to confirm suitability of successor parts
  • Performing forecasts & consumption estimations for spare parts and ensure they are reflected in safety stocks
  • Support material changes in production resulting out of material obsolescence

Hardskills

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (chemical, mechanical, electrical, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation, such as P&ID’s, datasheets, specifications, etc.
  • Experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment desirable
  • Familiar with MS Office products, specifically Excel
  • Fluency in English or/and German
