CONTEXT & MISSION:

We are looking for a highly motivated Group Compensation Manager to join our Group Compensation & Benefits and HRIS Team! In this role, you will support L'OCCITANE Group's growth by developing the compensation aspect of our employee value proposition, reflecting our core values and providing a competitive advantage in maximizing talent attraction and retention. You will work in close collaboration with the countries, regional and global leadership teams in a multi-cultural and multi-brand context.

The position reports to the Group C&B and HRIS Director and is based in the WHQ Plan-les-Ouates (near Geneva).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compensation:

  • Lead for the annual salary & bonus review process globally
  • Manage job grading & salary structure globally.
  • Manage Corporate incentive schemes (CIP)
  • Contribute to the design and transformation of the compensation policy
  • Perform compensation analysis and benchmarks globally to well understand L'OCCITANE Group's positioning, as well as making recommendations for improvement to ensure competitiveness and attractiveness
  • Support new brand to design reward schemes in alignment with Group philosophy

HR Community Support:

  • Support and advise HR Community on Compensation related questions & issues
  • Provide training on Compensation knowledge, policies and tools

Business Process Owner:

  • Defend the solutions' core model, analyze and challenge change requests
  • Challenge current Annual Salary & Bonus Review processes and pro-actively identify process improvement needs
  • Work closely with the HRIS Product Owner to translate business and user needs into technical requirements and improve the user experience

HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • +7 years' experience as multi-country/regional compensation expert in international environments ideally in the FMCG industry
  • Successful track record in leading complex projects and running complex processes in highly decentralized and fast-paced environments
  • Expert in job evaluation and salary structures design & transformation
  • Strong experience with incentive plans design & implementation
  • Solid knowledge of employee benefits schemes & pooling agreements
  • Fluent in English & conversational in French is a plus
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and lead by influence
  • Strong appetite to educate and enable peers
  • Strong team player, open, positive and "continuous improvement" mindset, pragmatic approach with a strong business acumen
  • Reliable, rigorous with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity and on-going change of plan and at ease in a multisite and multicultural environment
