Your role and responsibilities

Do you see your professional focus in the field of drive systems for rail vehicles and their energy storage systems? Are you interested in making modern mobility even more efficient and reliable? Would you like to support us in transferring established products to new markets through innovation? Your tasks in detail includes: • Engineering of drive systems, energy storage systems, and auxiliary systems for integration into the vehicle, considering customer specific requirements, applicable standards, and internal guidelines (e.g., electrical and thermal simulations). • Being the technical contact person for our customers and jointly developing solutions. • Specifying, conducting, documenting, and evaluating type and qualification tests. • Specifying components and defining technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers. • Contributing to product families regarding standardization, improvements, and maintenance. • Advancing to a subject matter expert on core components of our products. You support colleagues and independently or in technical teams shape the optimization of our design processes and customer solutions.

Qualifications for the role

• You enjoy working with (drive) technologies and have the ability to inspire others
• You bring knowledge of tools such as Matlab or Plecs (advantageous)
• You are a Team player with an "easy to work with" attitude who is motivated by technical challenges
• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or have proven experience of several years of professional experience in this area
• You are at ease communicating in English and German (or have a strong willingness to learn German quickly
• You hold the relevant permit to work in Switzerland
• The work model for the role is: hybrid
