Join our Sustainability team as an Intern and play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainability. This six-month internship starting in August/September 2024 offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, project support, and community management. Collaborate with experts and internal stakeholders to drive impactful sustainability initiatives and contribute to fulfilling Axpo's vision forsustainable future.

What you will do:

• Assist in preparing and collecting data for the annual sustainability report (GRI).


• Conduct analyses to support the implementation of additional reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ESRS).


• Engage in interdisciplinary projects to help meet upcoming regulatory requirements.


• Support various sustainability-related and cross-divisional projects, including the sustainability strategy.


• Conduct research and peer benchmarking to inform decision-making.


• Review and cluster ESG rating topics to aid in initiating improvement measures


• Coordinate internal networks or communities to foster collaboration.


• Contribute to internal and external communication activities to enhance Axpo’s sustainability profile.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, economics, or a related field.


• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and tackle new challenges.


• Prior experience or a strong interest in sustainability.


• Previous professional experience is an advantage


• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.


• Self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Team player with a positive attitude and a winning personality.


• Fluency in English and German
