Background:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety, Security, Health and Environmental protection (SHE)
Management System Developer to join our team as an operative contractor. In this crucial role, you will support the implementation of a world-class SHE management system working closely with the Management System Team and element owners. Your efforts will help ensure compliance and manage complex issues, supporting the long-term SHE strategy..
The perfect candidate The perfect candidate for this role will bring a combination of strong educational background, relevant experience,and exceptional personal attributes. They should possess a Masters Degree or higher qualification in a scientific field, complemented by proven expertise in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of SHE management systems, particularly those aligned with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, and have an understanding of high-risk operations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
the ability to navigate a complex matrix environment, and a talent for influencing and motivating cross-functional teams are critical. Additionally, they will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities, showing resilience and agility. Above all, they will embody a values-driven mindset, actively contributing to a positive and diverse work environment while demonstrating unwavering commitment to excellence in safety, health, and environmental protection..
Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Implementation Support: Collaborate with the management system squad and element owners to implement the SHE management system, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements and business goals.
• Program Development: Assist in creating programs, tools, and training that support legal compliance,
implement Roche SHE programs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Project Performance Analysis: support the analysis of the project performance against expectations,
communicate findings, provide feedback
• SHE Management System Maintenance: Sustain and continuously improve the SHE management system
and safety culture, ensuring robust processes that align with ISO 14001, 45001 standards.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the squad, ensuring high-quality delivery and
adherence to SHE best practices.
• Expert Advice: Offer SHE functional and management system expertise and mentorship as needed.
Must Haves:
- Master's Degree or higher qualification in a scientific field.
• 3-5 years proven knowledge and background in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence, and motivate peers toward achieving unified goals.
• Working knowledge of SHE management systems.
• Experience with high-risk operations is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities and adjust to changing priorities effectively.
• IT skills: adaptability to Roche standard global IT solutions .
• Proficient in English, additional languages are a plus.
• Values-driven team player committed to working within a positive and diverse work environment.
• Dedication to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.

• Experience in risk assessment and management frameworks.
