IT Application Support - Finance vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Providing prompt and efficient support for financial applications, resolving issues and troubleshooting to ensure minimal disruption
• Working closely with IT and finance teams to maintain and enhance the functionality of financial systems
• Performing regular maintenance and updates of financial applications to ensure they are running efficiently
• Assisting with the implementation of new financial software and upgrades
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for application support processes, configurations, and user guides
• Monitoring application performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues

Your experience/knowledge:

• Solid expertise in supporting applications on MS Windows Server, including PowerShell scripting
• High-level knowledge of various database systems, particularly MS SQL
• Proven experience with end-of-day processing and managing communication between applications and modern interfaces
• Familiarity with application security aspects and collaborative environments
• Expertise in incident, change, and release management processes within large financial organizations
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German is beneficial
