The Security Engineer is a developing role that actively contributes to the strengthening and execution of security measures within the organization. Building upon foundational security knowledge, this role starts to take ownership of specific security tasks and collaborates with various teams to reinforce the company's defense mechanisms against digital threats.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement security measures to strengthen our systems 
  • Monitor and maintain security applications and tools to prevent breaches and attacks 
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and lead small compliance projects 
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities in our infrastructure 
  • Implement security measures for cloud services and advise on website protection 
  • Collaborate on vulnerability scans and security assessments 
  • Analyze incident reports and understand security implications 
  • Contribute to security awareness efforts and maintain relevant documentation 

Your skills

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in security engineering (or similar), with specific skills in web security 
  • Understanding of web technologies, security principles and frameworks 
  • Experience in web-related programming languages and a better understanding of the operational aspects of website and service security
  • Ability to conduct tech talks and reviews, confidently sharing and passing on expertise 
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical challenges and solutions to team members
  • A robust interest in security topics, with a focus on developing expertise in specific areas of cybersecurity 
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies 
  • Fluent in English
