We, the legal department of GF (Legal, Compliance, Patent, Insurance), are a cross locational team with lawyers in Switzerland, Finland, the Unites States and Mainland China. We are committed to helping GF organizations navigate and manage a diverse range of complex issues and business challenges.

We are looking for an experienced fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) to succeed the Head Corporate Compliance, who will retire at the end of 2024. You will be located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Your tasks

• You account for the compliance function across the Group
• You lead the Group-wide compliance team
• You continuously adopt the Group's global compliance management system to regulatory requirements
• You advise and train on all compliance topics in a Group-wide, international context
• You support internal investigations

Your profile

• Fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with bar exam and at least ten years of experience in international commercial (criminal) law, including antitrust and foreign trade law, the last at least 5 years as compliance officer in an internationally active, export-orientated industrial company
• High analytical and conceptual skills and high level of technical competence
• Successful project manager with intercultural mindset, fit for global and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Strong communicator, recognized conflict manager, with an assertive, integer and reliable personality
• Excellent in German and English (written and spoken; any other additional language skills are an advantage)
• Proficient in the use of MS Office programs
• Willingness to travel on business
