Overview
SUMMARY
Leads sourcing activities for Direct & Indirect Procurement for the Yverdon BioPlant within the GMP Manufacturing space. Drives functional expertise through an understanding of supply markets/trends, cost drivers and the impact to Incyte’s business model. Works closely with key stakeholders to develop effective sourcing strategies that enable improvements in quality, service, innovation and annual cost reductions. Develop supplier relationships that leverage supplier capabilities, improve supply continuity and reduce costs. Effectively prioritize work incorporating Operations, Quality and Business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
Life Sciences Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience from biotech industry or pharmaceutical.Must speak English and French Ability to work in a fast paced – high regulated environmentMinimum of 8 years related experience in procurement and sourcing or closely related experience in the businessKnowledge and experience of current purchasing best practicesPractical knowledge with cGMP's and understanding of biotech / pharma production processes is a requirement.Must be able to travel Team work oriented mindsetDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
