An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced luxury manager to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys” to deliver a “Michelin-starred” retail guest experience. Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss Hospitality and luxury in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of four ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.

• Deliver exemplary guest service through the development of a highly trained team with exceptional product knowledge and luxury service know-how.

• Facilitate strong team results through the effective management of individual performance, contribution and ensure consistent feedback is communicated and actioned with the relevant corporate functions.

• Maintain excellent product presentation and high standards of merchandising at all times.

• Drive retail efficiencies and consistency in processes, in collaboration with other shipboard leaders.

• Maintain integrity of stock control, levels and replenishment.

• Ability to lead & develop a small team in a motivational style, whilst personalizing your approach to varying cultures & nationalities.

• Ability to influence others, including shipboard & corporate colleagues, in order to maintain uninterrupted exceptional guest experience.

• Proven track record of minimum 3 years’ management experience showing clear business-growth and team development / succession.

• Previous experience in luxury / premium retail services is a must.

• Proficient in English. Any additional languages, particularly European languages is considered an advantage.

Possess a valid passport and seaman's book if available.
