Service Desk Technician and System Administrator

As a member of the Swiss IT Service Desk Team, in collaboration with the 1st Level Support provided by our team in the Philippines, you will be responsible for VIP assistance, Level 2 and 3 IT support requiring on-site presence at the Geneva Headquarters as well as all other CH affiliate offices.

More specifically you will:

 


  • Ensure the availability of the Service Desk Hotline (8am – 6pm) according to the 8 hour-shift assigned by the Helpdesk Manager.

  • Be responsible for the support and continuous improvement of the service for personal computer systems, installed software packages, telephony and audio/video-conferencing support and IT infrastructure; including servers, storage and network components

  • Create and maintain inventories and procedures

  • Provide support for events like Management Meetings

  • Implement locally the IT strategies defined at group level

  • Maintain the integrity of the network, server deployment and security


  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in similar position

  • Good knowledge and working experience of Microsoft environment for PC, servers, software and M365 cloud products

  • Good understanding of server, storage, network components to provide support and provide solutions suited to local requirements

  • Able to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound practical judgement, experience and common sense

  • Strong ITIL knowledge and experience working within an ITIL environment

  • Experience working within both multinational and multi-cultural environments

  • Strong team player

  • Proficient in English, French

  • Any additional language, such as German, is an advantage

  • Ability to act under strong pressure and manage efficiently crisis situations


  • This is a full-time position and will be based in Geneva Headquarters office

  • Monthly travel to the other CH affiliate offices to provide support, when required
