Organizational unit: Underwriting

The incumbent reports to: General Manager Switzerland

Job objectives and responsibilities: Manage the sales and underwriting forces for all products in French-speaking Switzerland.

Main tasks 

Risk identification, verification, assessment and pricing

• Creation of offers
• Annual review of existing contracts
• Maintenance of brokerage relationships and opening of new sales channels
• Product development according to market conditions and developments
• Compliance with riskholder delegations
• Communication with risk holders
• Collaboration with and support for internal processes or reporting and audits of risk owners.
• Data entry and maintenance in inventory management systems (Vias, Office).
• Support for training and further training of team members

Secondary tasks: Active participation in workspace design

• Swiss Team for Crosseling

Jobholder qualification:

• Successful completion of studies with a focus on law or business management
• At least 5 years' experience in the insurance industry
• High willingness to learn and quick comprehension
• Reliability, team spirit, flexibility and service orientation
• Work independently and consistently results-oriented
• Sales orientation
• Written and spoken English (German a plus)
• Experienced in the use of common MS-Office programs
