Organizational unit: Underwriting
The incumbent reports to: General Manager Switzerland
Job objectives and responsibilities: Manage the sales and underwriting forces for all products in French-speaking Switzerland.
Main tasks
Risk identification, verification, assessment and pricing
- Creation of offers
- Annual review of existing contracts
- Maintenance of brokerage relationships and opening of new sales channels
- Product development according to market conditions and developments
- Compliance with riskholder delegations
- Communication with risk holders
- Collaboration with and support for internal processes or reporting and audits of risk owners.
- Data entry and maintenance in inventory management systems (Vias, Office).
- Support for training and further training of team members
Secondary tasks: Active participation in workspace design

Jobholder qualification:
- Successful completion of studies with a focus on law or business management
- At least 5 years' experience in the insurance industry
- High willingness to learn and quick comprehension
- Reliability, team spirit, flexibility and service orientation
- Work independently and consistently results-oriented
- Sales orientation
- Written and spoken English (German a plus)
- Experienced in the use of common MS-Office programs
