What you will do:

• Guide, manage and develop the local team of 5 operational buyers for indirect materials in Flamatt
• Develop and implement a procure to pay process (P2P) in SAP with key stakeholders and in alignment with the company’s goals
• Support internal stakeholders in daily indirect-related purchasing topics/inquires and invoicing operations, including educational trainings and/or respective documentation
• Daily purchase and order processing in SAP, including creation, proposal and implementation of continuous improvement measures in cooperation with the team
• Close cooperation with indirect purchasing teams in the US and Asia guided by best practice

What you bring:

• University degree in economics, supply chain management or equivalent, ideally supplemented with focused further training in purchasing
• 2-5 years’ experience in operational purchasing, preferably in an international manufacturing environment
• Profound knowledge of the purchasing environment in SAP MM
• Fluent in English and German, both verbally and written; with concise communication skills
• Good understanding of leadership principles with a keen instinct for sustainable team development
