European Athletics, based in Lausanne/SUI, organises a large number of high-level athletics events and activities, including this year's European Athletics Championships taking place in June in Rome/ITA.

The organisation is in constant development and is now seeking a highly motivated, proactive expert in information technology (IT) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in IT and computer science. This position will insource the IT services and complete the overall team.

This position will be based in the Head Office in Lausanne, Switzerland. The work languages are English and French, both fluently spoken and written.

Mission, tasks and requirements:

The IT Manager/Coordinator (employee) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and provide excellent support to our end-users. Despite the position being based in Lausanne/SUI, travels will be required (across Europe) to oversee the administrative and user support of our IT environment during key events.

The employee will be overseeing the administration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.

He/she will provide technical support for European Athletics users, applications and equipment, deliver 1st level support for employees as well as manage 2nd and 3rd level support with suppliers/consultants.

The tasks will include the Microsoft compliance and security. The employee will manage hardware and oversee IT and audiovisual services in meeting rooms. The employee is expected to keep abreast of industry trends and technologies in order to provide cutting-edge solutions.

The employee must have a Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent, as well as Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure certifications. He/she must have a great ability to work as part of a team, be ready to take action and have the desire to go the extra mile.
