Senior Information Security Project Manager (Basel, Freelancer, English)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Management of multiple simultaneous projects including their dependencies, creation and delivery of presentations of project status, finances in weekly and steerco meetings using our project management templates and methodology.
• Create and deliver the security program and projects governance structure in agreement with our PMO offices, including escalation process for service providers taking part in projects and internal Bachem resources.
• Follow and ensure GMP CSV compliance requirements are followed in the GMP relevant projects in close collaboration with our GMP CSV compliance team and Quality Assurance.
• Review and approve time sheets from external resources working on the security program and projects and submit billing for approval by the cost center owner.
• Pro-actively and timely manage project risks, issues and dependencies as well as propose appropriate mitigation actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8-10 years’ experience as a project manager, with 3 in program management.
• PM certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• Professional certifications in Information Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
• Extensive experience in managing projects to deliver security processes and solutions such as GRC, IAM, DLP, EDR/SIEM/SOC tools, CASB/SGW, etc.
• Knowledge of GDPR and GXP environment is a plus.
• Experience in managing programs with various simultaneous projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in ICS / OT environment would be a plus
• Excellent English language skills, German is a plus.
