For our Supply Chain Management team in Zurich Oerlikon we are currently looking for a new colleague to join our team as:

Procurement Manager (80-100%)

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely implementation of packaging artwork and regulatory changes in the production process in a GMP environment
  • Coordination and manage the procurement with contract manufacturers organizations of active ingredients, bulk and finished products
  • Organize and coordinate goods transport, monitor and manage inventory status and overview, ensure overview of product shortage and taking steps to mitigate write offs
  • Act as main point of contact and interface between all relevant stakeholders in the procurement and packaging preliminary stages process
  • Requirements planning based on previous customer orders and customer forecasts

Your profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with focus in the life science industry
  • Advanced experience in supply and demand planning; solid knowledge of counterfeit protection and track & trace
  • Advanced understanding of the packaging preliminary stage (artworks) and packaging related aspects such as materials, layout, specifications and criticalities in the procurement process
  • Understanding of new product launch processes and knowledge of the range of packaging materials, legal restrictions and packaging requirements
  • Strong IT skills: SAP S/4HANA especially in SD/MM, Office Applications, and Data Reporting tools (BW/BI)
  • Native German and fluent in English
  • Well organized person who likes to work independent and embedded in a small team; flexible and analytical personality; well organized and detail-oriented working style
