We're on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer with a solid background in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Machine Learning to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Group Engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge Industry 4.0 software solutions that harness the power of IIoT and Machine Learning technologies, ultimately enhancing our production capabilities.

YOUR MISSION

As a Software Engineer specializing in Industrial IoT, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end IIoT solutions.


• Implementing and optimizing communication protocols for IIoT devices.


• Implementing machine learning algorithms for analyzing and extracting meaningful insights from IIoT data, with a focus on predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and other relevant use cases.


• Designing and implementing Industry 4.0 software solutions that seamlessly bridge the gap between IIoT devices and machine learning models.


• Developing scalable and maintainable code for deployment in diverse environments.


• Designing and implementing data storage and retrieval mechanisms tailored for IIoT data.


• Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards.


• Staying current with Industry 4.0 trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in software development.

YOUR PROFILE

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on IIoT and Machine Learning.


• Experience working in an Agile methodology.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.


• A strong understanding of IIoT protocols, standards, and architectures.


• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.


• Familiarity with edge computing and cloud-based IIoT platforms.


• Strong written and verbal English skills. German is a plus.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
