Asset Manager and Treasurer
Role purpose:
As part of a high-performance and dynamic team, we are looking to complete the Finance team a proactive, curious, well-organized team-player being able to deal with tight deadlines and able to work independently, albeit in close collaboration with internal/external business stakeholders.
Investment
- Monitor the company’s investments within the company’s constraints and objectives
- Understand the macro and micro economic parameters, as well as legal and tax aspects, surrounding investment decisions
- Liaise with external asset managers / advisors, administrators and custodians to monitor the portfolio’s performance and decisions
- Review investment proposals made by asset managers / advisors and assist in the decision making
Cash management
- Effectively manage and analyze all incoming and outgoing cash; Optimize cash locally according to group standards
- Liaise with banks to address account issues/queries
- Analyze and resolve any FX issues
Budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Monitor the investment / cash position and establish budgets/forecasts
- Assist with month/quarter-end accounting closing activities (according to Swiss GAAP and IFRS)
- Maintain and develop financial reports to assist management in making appropriate decisions
Compliance - Risk
- Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by Coface and external regulators
- Monitor asset pledges by our reinsurers
- Assist with document preparation for auditors
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
Education :
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance / Investment / Business Management; CFA or equivalent an asset
Experience :
- Minimum 7 years of relevant investment/asset management experience, ideally in a regulated environment
- Experience with treasury related matters
Competencies:
- Fluency in English and French are a must-have
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- IT literacy; Advanced knowledge of MS office (Excel)
