YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and/or Swiss Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting and Controlling.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, including consolidation
- Proactive, analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage teams
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics BC/Abacus) and common BI tools (Tableau)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluent in German and English

As Head of Accounting & Group Reporting, you’ll lead a core finance function responsible for accurate financial records, legal reporting, consolidation, and tax compliance. You ensure timely closings, audit readiness, and a strong financial backbone that supports strategic decisions. You love structure but thrive in change, constantly improving tools, systems, and the way we work. You’ll lead and inspire a skilled accounting team, work closely with cross-functional partners, and play a key role in scaling a modern, data-driven finance function.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounting & Compliance: Lead day-to-day accounting operations (general/subledgers, AP/AR, reconciliations) and ensure compliance with legal, accounting, and tax standards through hands-on involvement.
- Reporting & Closings: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (standalone and group), and deliver timely consolidated and statutory reports.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Act as the main contact for audits and authorities. Ensure audit readiness, enhance internal controls, and implement an accounting & reporting manual.
- Tax & Legal: Oversee tax compliance across jurisdictions, including VAT and annual tax returns, while advising on tax structuring.
- Systems & Processes: Own and evolve ERP systems (ABACUS / Microsoft Dynamics BC) and drive automation and scalability across accounting processes
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead the accounting team and actively contribute to cross-functional projects that support FELFEL’s growth and innovation.
