Deloitte's Swiss Supply Chain & Network Operations practice owns digitally enabled business transformation within the physical value chain. We provide consulting services that allow our clients to optimize, reinvent, digitize and refine their entire supply chain. In Switzerland, we address the most complex business issues by drawing on global capabilities that cover not only all areas of business strategy, operations and technology, but also many sectors, including Life Sciences and Healthcare, Consumer & Industrial, Energy & Resources.
You will be involved in international projects aimed at supporting the clients’ Top Management in improving profitability and achieving operational excellence. Here, you will optimise the client’s supply chain from end to end; on exemplary projects such as designing and implementing strategies in the sustainability space such as Circular Economy, deploying best practice processes like S&OP, implementing state-of the art technology solutions like o9 or IBP, supporting during large scale business and/or technology transformation projects, or working on a smart factory project ideating and prioritising improvement opportunities in the areas of IoT, VR/AR, co-bots, RPA.
In your position (Senior Consultant/Manager) you will be integrated into a project team right from the very start. You will work as part of a multinational team with highly experienced colleagues, to solve challenging problems.
How you can make an impact  


  • Digitally Enabled Business Transformation: plan and manage business transformation programs that are enabled or include an element of technology solutions ranging from IoT/blockchain to ERP – this includes M&A programs 

  • From Product to Service: manage product and services across their lifecycle, enable the transition from selling products to selling solutions and services as a greater source of value, enabling digitalisation of product and service management (digital twin/thread)

  • Synchronised Planning: effectively manage and synchronise customer demand, supply chain assets, and working capital to drive and deliver improvements in customer service levels, supply chain costs, and working capital

  • Supply Management: drive value from third-party spend and internal optimisation through category management strategies, supplier management, and strategic sourcing of indirect and direct materials; prioritise and plan value from digital procurement and ESG enablement

  • Digital: define E2E digital transformation program including data strategy and governance; build digital roadmaps that leads to implementation of digital solutions using analytics, data and/or additional innovative technologies.

  • Innovation: stay ahead of supply chain trends and technological developments, develop new capabilities internally and by partnering with start-ups, translate insights to new ways of delivering value to our clients

  • Sustainability: identify, develop and integrate environmentally and financially sustainable practices into the supply chain lifecycle – from product design through material selection, manufacturing and logistics / distribution

Who we are looking for

  • A keen interest and knowledge of supply chain, digital trends and technologies

  • Practical experience in the supply chain and technology field supplemented by project and client management skills (experience varies per grade)

  • You grasp new concepts quickly and are both client and goal-oriented

  • You are reliable, willing to take on responsibility

  • You work well as part of a diverse team and independently

  • A very good university degree (Bachelor’s or Master's), ideally with a supply chain or technology focus

  • You communicate confidently in English. German and French would be an advantage
