International Media Relations Manager
What does the role involve?
The international media relations manager develops the established international press strategy for Hilti Corporate Headquarters and actively communicates in regional (German-speaking) and financial press as well as in relevant specialist media worldwide. You produce media content, write press releases and develop press campaigns. You serve as the initial point of contact for international inquiries and interview requests, prepare press events and conferences and furthermore evaluate and report coverage and development of press activities. Being a media professional you support the top management through media coaching and advise specialist units on regional and international press activities. The position affords a high degree of independence and creative freedom and offers interesting developmental possibilities while working in a global corporate environment.
What you need is:
Concluded studies at a university or school of higher education
Several years of experience in the area of external communications and media relations with an international company, in journalism and/or in a PR agency
Excellent written and spoken abilities (in both English and German) and a highly-developed feel for languages; a solid sense of style and writing skills
Proven experience and practical service in independently writing text, articles and speeches for top management
Analytical thought processes and conceptional skills
