My client is a pretty cool start-up based in Zurich, Switzerland. They think one step ahead of the rest and so they are the only company in Europe offering this amazing service. Their mission is to ensure every single person can benefit from the fast-paced digitalization which will reach a new peak in 1-3 years. Their product, a community service market place, ensures that no one is left behind – even if they can’t keep up with the speed, they can benefit from the technological progress. This is truly inspiring, and the market response confirms that, which is why they are ready to scale up even further to be prepared for entering new continents in their 4th year.
CTO of growing start-up in beautiful Zurich
How will your personal mission look like?
You’ll be responsible for leading the yet small but growing IT team and the IT strategy to ensure my client can reach their objectives. Because of the planned growth, one of your tasks will be to form the structure and setup of the scrum teams accordingly. By directly reporting to the CEO, you’ll take over strategic responsibilities and can shape the technical landscape of my client and – most importantly – be actively involved in scaling up the business. You’ll be definitely making a difference, if you’re brave enough to take risks, compete with the speed and are capable of thinking big.
You’re most likely the perfect candidate, if you find yourself in the description below:
You’ve built a strong technical know-how over the last years, but the times of working as Architect / Developer are over. You think bigger, because you have both, technology and business acumen. You feel confident enough to act on C level and scale up the IT environment of this flourishing and forward-looking business. So far, your managers and colleagues have appreciated you for your endurance, your leadership skills and the capability to cope with stressful situations. Further, you’re known for being a self-starter who takes ownership and has an appetite to learn fast on the job. You speak fluent English; German skills are a plus. If you’re also used to work in an agile way with remote teams, then you’re even closer to this unique job.
Benefits and how it’s like working at my clients:
My client stands for innovation, inspiration and drive. That’s what their trustful partners (e.g. a big swiss telecommunication provider & international telco businesses) have understood early on. Their team is based in Zürich and consists of colleagues from many different countries. They live a direct communication policy which means that everyone’s input and ideas are important and aimed to be implemented quickly. You can expect a competitive salary of at least 140.000CHF which may be adjusted according to your skills and experience.
