Associate Scientist – Animal Nutrition & Health Product Application (f/m)
The Challenge
As Associate Scientist ANH application you will work on exciting, various and challenging topics together with a team in a modern and creative environment. You will be part of R&D in a group dedicated to co-develop new product formulations and will work specifically in the field of animal nutrition and health products. Progressive on-the-job training with expert colleagues guarantees you will become familiar with your duties, perform them independently and deepen your expertise in product formulation, animal nutrition, animal production and feed industry. This temporary position (12 or 24 months contract – your decision) is based in Kaiseraugst.
The Position
- Application of new ANH product forms and solutions to achieve optimum overall performance, especially for carotenoids, vitamins, eubiotics, enzymes
- Planning and executing scientific projects within a project team or research partners or customers
- Reporting project results
- Developing new testing systems to assure accurate product development
- Supporting technical sales force via trainings, customer seminars and benchmarking studies
- Supporting production sites with product evaluation
- Publishing in journals and magazines, scientific and technical developments
- Developing a strong technical presence within the company, industry and scientific organizations
The Ideal
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Feed / Food Technology, PhD optional
- Experience in a feed industrial environment is required
- Writing and presentation skills, as well as statistical knowledge
- Motivated, independent and able to work in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team
- Assertive personality with a strong power of persuasion, solution oriented
- Fluent in English, willing to learn German, 3rd language welcome
