Role Overview

As part of a major transformation project to implement a new global financial messaging solution, we're seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing activities. The role involves defining test strategies, coordinating global testing efforts, and ensuring a smooth and secure migration of financial messaging capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all testing phases, from planning to execution and defect management
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and ensure adherence to project timelines
• Validate message flows across interconnected systems to guarantee reliability and compliance
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an international environment
• Ensure documentation and reporting meet regulatory and quality standards

Requirements:

Must-have:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager in large-scale IT transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of financial messaging systems (e.g. SWIFT, ISO 20022, SIC)
• Expertise in test strategy development, execution, and defect management
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Xray
• ISTQB Certified Test Manager (Advanced) and ISTQB Certified Tester
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• Fluent German (C1+) and good command of English (B1/B2)

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in payment systems or banking environments
• Background in integration and system testing in regulated industries
• Training or education in financial services or payment systems
