We are bringing a new financial services paradigm to the blockchain and finance economy. In scope of our growth plans we are looking for a Head Payments:

In the Head Payments function you will be responsible for the following:

Strategic/Financial


  • Formulation and implementation of the banks Retail strategy, specifically:

    • Design the go-to-market strategy for payments / banking services  

    • Close collaboration with Marketing & Communications in building a state of the art digital and offline (i.e Launch Event)

    • Close collaboration with further internal stakeholders in respect to cards, payments and technology in driving forward a highly competitive solution, scaling growth by number of clients and Assets under Management

    • Close collaboration with treasury and finance to ensure solution fully integrates with existing financial and treasury management framework


  • Design and implementation of a state-of-the art tech platform and digital client experience

  • Contribute to the preparation of annual marketing plans and strategies to enable Client Managers achieving targeted growth objectives.

  • Conduct competitor analysis, market analysis and research, customer needs analysis on an ongoing basis to ensure continued competitiveness, relevance and profitability of retail banking offerings

  • Contribute to the effective launching of new products to ensure favorable market response and optimum build-up of revenue

  • Ensure growth of all of the banks payment products & services relevant to the segments

  • Ensure banks payment offering is fully compliant with relevant in country rules & regulations

  • Build out correspondent banking relationships and develop additional relationships with banks to help spread supplier risk for FIAT On and Off ramping

Customer


  • Maintain and acquire customer relationships to improve deposit liability growth and mix

  • Relationship Management of High Net worth Customers

  • Network with external baking partners, building strong banking partner relationships across multiple global currencies

  • Network with all potential clients in all relevant categories

  • Implement structures for effective customers relationship management and ensure continuous tracking and measurement of retail customer satisfaction/loyalty

Operations


  • Work in strong collaboration with the Operations team to define and improve service delivery standards

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Executive Management

Additional Requirements

Establish high growth franchise for Personal Banking (defined as non-qualified investors) by


  • Obtain approval by regulator for SEBA to enter this client segment

  • Develop & promote the state-of-the art SMART Banking App globally

  •  Apply and run "Growth Hacking" strategies & team

Provide State-of-the-art Tech Solutions for B2B Segment


  •  Design & promote "Connectivity Solutions"

  •  Establish White-Label Wallet Solutions (B2B2C)

  •  Set a mark as the Global Standard for SMART Banking

 Ensure Best-of-Class SMART Banking Experience


  •  Seamless onboarding that is connected to growth hacking

  •  Ensure highly efficient cross/up-selling automation

  •  Implement tools for RM/AM to monitor status/prodcutiy KPI's

  •  Issue Mgmt

Candidate Requirements


  • +10 years of experience in a similar role in payments provision, corporate banking, business banking or retail banking

  • Led project team to build payment rail or payment solutions, or department head (or equivalent) for a retail banking functions

  • Strong understanding of payment processes, networks, payment messaging and technology

  • Solid understanding of Blockchain, Digital Assets, Currencies and Crypto

  • Strong understanding of payments/transactional processing

  • +10 years of business development experience & or banking relationship experience (Sales Execution & Fulfillment, Sales Evaluation & Reporting)

  • +5 years in payments industry

  • Significant network in the payment space & experience with FIAT ON and OFF ramp- including domestic and cross border

  • Understanding of customer experience and monetization strategies (including client conversion, cross selling, customer acquisition & retention.)

  • Robust process understanding from the content and technical IT perspective

  • Working experience with crypto exchanges preferred and basic understanding of blockchain as a payment solution (e.g. stable coin, exchange network) a plus.

  • Ability to interact with process stakeholders at various levels and to provide executive sponsorship to global process leaders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, internally and externally

  • Very good problem solving and organizational skills and proven ability to prioritise responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives, focus on details and good analytical skills
