The Training & Development department is responsible for the training and development of our staff, from apprentices to employees in the production departments, all the way up to the management level. As a Swatch Group company, we are also responsible for the internationally-oriented Nicolas G. Hayek Watchmaking Schools.

Job description

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for

• the recruitment of new students
• the integration of the students into their new environment during their training
• teaching according the WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Program) curriculum for Customer Service Watchmakers
• maintaining and developing our curriculum and training media
• the supervision and marking of the intermediate and final exams
• providing reports on the school and the progress of the individual students

Profile

You are able to lead a class with students from different countries and cultures, thus ensuring successful training. You have a passion for the watchmaking profession and also for adult education. Structured working and your sense of organisation help you to fulfil your tasks with ease.

Professional requirements

You have a profound and recognised watchmaker education (Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training / WOSTEP) and are up to date with the basic skills in the area of customer service. In addition, you have experience in adult education and have undergone further training in this area (SVEB Certificate / Federal Diploma of Higher Education). Ideally, you are already familiar with the WOSTEP curriculum.

Languages

English with a good knowledge of German or French.
