* Develop and maintain full stack applications that parse, store and serve high-volume and high-complexity data
* Develop and maintain container-based servers to run these applications
* Backend development mainly in Rust, but also occasionally using Python, Matlab and C#
* Frontend development in Typescript and potentially WASM
* Review code committed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
* Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on product/program updates

What you should bring with you

• Proven Experience (min 3 years) with software development in two or more programming languages, including a low-level/systems programming one (e.g. Rust, C or C++)
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience with backend development, across back-ends such as Python or C#
• First experience in deployment and management of Linux-based servers
• Experience with web-app architecture and systems integration.
• Experience with SOA / Microservices architectures and containerization technologies (e.g Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) is a nice to have
• Experience with frontend development, including JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent, and frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue is a nice to have
• Experience with agile processes such as scrum is preferable as well as experience with collaboration tools such as Git, Jira etc.
• Fluent in English and ideally good knowledge of German or willing to learn
