Administrative headaches for HR managers, payroll managers, employees, doctors and claims managers, were the norm. Your Role

As a claims manager, you will be working in an exciting international environment, based in Basel and Zurich. You will be the primary point of contact for our claims. You will be handling claims submitted by our customers through our fully digital software solution and often act as one of the main points of contact to our clients - actively shaping the customer experience.

What you will do

  • Coordinate efforts with customers, service providers, and partners
  • Support and advise corporate customers
  • Oversee claims processing in KTG, UVG/Z realms
  • Verify responsibilities and coverage for each case
  • Implement case management strategies and explore recourse options
  • Actively manage cases, obtain medical records, collaborate with social insurance entities
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, collaborate with various stakeholders

  • You worked at least 3+ years in the employee insurance space: KTG & UVG/Z
  • You are tech-savvy and excited about new technologies in the insurance space.
  • You are excited to explore new approaches to prevention and reintegration of employees into their work life.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build long-lasting relationships with our partners and support the employees during their leave.
  • You have a team player attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (C1 level) and French (B2 level).
  • You have medical or coaching expertise.
  • You have experience in dealing with international employee insurance and benefits solutions.

    • During this call we will go more in depth in understanding your background and skills.
  • Skills Assessment
    • You will get the chance to work on our skills assessment during a time slot of your choice, to showcase your technical competence.
  • Skills Assessment Presentation - Nathalie Boeglin, Claims Manager | 60min
    • You will be able to present your assessment and explain your methods & processes more in depth.
  • Cultural Connect @grape HQ - Fabian & Greg, Founders | 60 min
    • Meet our founders and some of the other team members at our office in Zurich.
  • Reference calls
    • By this point we will have gotten a very good idea of your background, skills and team fit. Now it’s on us to do the last check with the references you provided.
  • Offer
