Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Engineer to reinforce the team in Geneva.

As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities would be:

• Preparation of mechanical drawings in the tendering phase
• Develop complete design of electro-mechanical assemblies to a detailed level considering  aspects  and requirements such as:
• Understanding of electrical and electronic schematics
• Standards, tolerances, bolted and welded joints, mechanical stability
• Manufacturability
• Handling, installation, maintenance
• The use of standard components shall be prioritized.
• Propose design solutions and alternatives in an efficient way. Show a proactive attitude toward design improvements.
• Creation and management of customer drawings for validation.
• 3D equipment realization and management by project, including bills of material in our ERP system.
• Maintain fluent interaction with team members located at local offices and international offices.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you would have:

• 5 years of successful experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge and proficiency in principles of Electrical distribution / Railway field is a plus.
• Knowledge and proficiency in ERP tools (Oracle, SAP…).
• Fluent in English and French, any other European language (Spanish, German, Portuguese, etc..) is a plus.
• Experience in the railway field or electrical distribution is a plus.
• Occasional travelling (10%)
