AERO SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT LEADER 100% (all genders)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and create the latest generation of aerodynamic analysis tools.
• Develop data science capabilities.
• Define scope, goals and technologies used in both projects.
• Have the technical lead of a team of engineers to execute these projects.
• Work closely with aerodynamic engineers to improve the ease of understanding complex data.
• Apply your experience and knowledge to help us set future directions and trends in data analysis and data visualization.
• Be responsible to define the look and feel of the user interface in terms of presentation and interaction with the data from a wide range of engineering data sources.
• Be responsible for producing high performance and well-designed data access tools and APIs to be used by other existing systems.
• Complete design, code, test, release, and maintenance of data analysis applications.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in software design and data science.

YOUR PROFILE

• An MSc or PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Strong programming skills. The company is technologically open minded. Experience with the following would be beneficial:
• Python (v3.x), Qt, PostgreSQL, and real time engineering signal data processing.
• C#, .NET and integrating with other technologies such as SQL Server and C++.
• Experience with data organisation and repository creation using appropriate database and file technologies.
• Interest in the development and deployment of AI and Machine Learning based systems.
• Experience in working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented, and able to work independently with some flexibility in terms of working hours.
• A team player but with the initiative to make own decisions.
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Open to learning from others and sharing knowledge with others.
• Someone who, regardless of the task set, always has a high work ethic and is committed to a positive image of the department and entire team.
• Organized, methodical and able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
