We’re in search of an exceptional Account Director who embodies a “CEO mindset” to take over ultra-growth, Key Accounts within Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, driving ERM’s comprehensive involvement. We are looking for an individual with an extensive understanding of these industries, encompassing their value chains, competitor landscape and a keen awareness of sustainability’s integration with their objectives.

Our ideal candidate is fueled by ambitious growth strategies, adept at prioritizing market potential while navigating dynamic landscapes.  

In this role, you will lead multimillion-dollar accounts, driving double-digit growth and diversification in service level offerings. You’ll cultivate relationships not only at the executive level but across functions and business units, leveraging your extensive network to expand ERM’s influence and reach.

Your proactive networking skills will foster collaboration across service lines, aligning with client priorities and driving co-creation initiatives. Your deep understanding of the client journey will position ERM for end-to end program success in a competitive landscape. Additionally, your senior delivery support will establish you as a trusted advisor, valued for your perspective.

You’ll leverage platforms to expand your network, balancing growth in existing relationships with cultivating new ones, always seeking to elevate ERM’s impact.

About you

As Client Account Director, you will sit within ERM’s Client and Industries team, which is responsible for driving the market-focused global strategy for ERM. Our Client Account Director’s typically lead one or two of ERM’s global key accounts and participate as a key member on the client’s respective Global Industry team.

The Client Account Director position is a client-facing leadership role that combines strong consulting, strategic account management, and business development skills; the aim is to drive sustained long-term, profitable growth of ERM’s business with the key client.  As ERM’s steward of this account. The Client Account Director will be responsible for developing trusted advisor relationships with key client business executives and stakeholders and serve as the face of ERM to the client. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a progressive career with at least some of that time spent in a consulting environment.  

As well as being able to demonstrable track record in strategic account management in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry, you will possess and in-depth understanding of multi-national Fortune 500 organizations, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business.
