Job description

As the Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive information security program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

You will be directly responsible for the strategic leadership of our information security program, particularly in relation to our home-made ERP system, which is critical to our international operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Work with the executive management team to define the risk tolerance of the organization and ensure information security aligns with business objectives.
• Policy Development: Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines related to information security, ensuring they meet international standards and compliance requirements
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Security Operations:Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems, particularly focusing on the ERP system.
• Incident Response: Develop and implement an incident response plan and associated procedures to handle security breaches, incuding the lead of the investigation of any security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches.
• ERP System Security: Ensure the security of the home-made ERP system through regular audits, policy enforcement, and collaboration with the ERP development team.
• Training and Awareness:Develop and deliver a comprehensive information security training program for all employees, including the promotion of security awareness across the organization.
• Vendor Management:Work with vendors, outside consultants, and other third parties to improve information security within the organization.
• Compliance and Audit: Ensure the organization complies with all information security laws, regulations, and best practices and coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes and compliance with specific requirements.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional security management certification, such as a CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• Extensive experience in information security, especially in an international and ERP-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of information security protocols, best practices, and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to data privacy and protection.
• Mastery of generative AI such as ChatGPT is a plus for improving day-to-day productivity.
