An exciting new role has developed in our business to deliver maximum value and elevate our customer experience agenda to the next level.

As a Customer App Product Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic vision, development, and success of customer applications within our organization. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of marketing, customer experience, digital technology customer and business strategy to ensure the delivery and roll out of innovative and impactful digital customer solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, including product managers, customer officers, designers, engineers, and marketing professionals, to bring digital products from conception to market launch.

What you will do

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead, develop and communicate a clear and compelling customer app product strategy aligned with overall business objectives and strategy.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer behaviors to inform the product roadmap and ensure customer engagement.

Product Development:

  • Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring products meet quality, timeline, and budgetary requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user stories, and features.

User Experience and Design

  • Define a compelling customer experience and work with UX/UI designers to drive the creation of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Advocate for customer-centered design principles and ensure a unified, seamless user experience across all digital applications.

Team Collaboration:

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of senior stakeholders, product managers, designers and developers.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging creativity and problem-solving.

Market Analysis:

  • Oversee market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize the performance of digital products.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Effectively communicate the product strategy, development progress, and key milestones to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.

Performance Measurement:

  • Evolve key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of customer products.
  • Analyze performance data and user feedback to iterate on products and enhance their effectiveness.

What you bring

  • Proven experience and success (3 years+) in a leadership role overseeing global customer product development and scaling.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and customer engagement drivers, technology trends, digital marketing, and user experience design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive global implementation of core customer platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with agile and lean product development methodologies.
  • Experience with developing and scaling a global mobile app
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to digital products.
