We are looking for a Senior Risk Analyst (m/f/d) based in Munich.

Your Team

Within Risk Management, the Solvency Steering team are dedicated to deliver the best possible solutions in the identification, assessment and steering of risks and the respective regulatory interaction. We collaborate with the business function and ensure a proactive management of Allianz Commercial entities’ risk appetite considering the overall risk profile.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Head of Solvency Steering, you will be responsible for the risk capital and solvency planning process. You will support the analysis of the Allianz Commercial’s risk profile covering all major risk types and contribute to strategic projects. This includes reinsurance, mergers and acquisitions, but also capital optimization and capital allocation based on our internal model.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Manage the risk capital and solvency planning process for AGCS SE and its material subsidiaries
• Analyze and explain planning results and prepare internal reporting to senior and top management as well as relevant committees as well as external reporting
• Conduct and develop controls around the risk capital planning process and ensure respective control framework is in line with requirements
• Identify, assess and monitor on a continuous basis, market, credit and insurance risks and support capital optimization within AZ Commercial as well as capital allocation based on the internal model
• Support and execute stress testing and scenario analysis for our entities and monitor regulatory developments impacting Allianz Commercial

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Professional experience in finance, reinsurance and/or P&C insurance with focus on quantitative risk management / risk controlling / risk modelling / Solvency II
• Excellent analytical abilities – comfortable working with complex data and creating logical and pragmatic conclusions and solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders and to engage them in complex topics
• Motivated by deadlines and able to adapt and reprioritize your workload as needed
• Confident working independently and as part of a global and culturally diverse team
• Excellent English skills (written and verbal) are required; German language skills are a plus
