Main Responsibilities

  • Management and responsibility of the operations department with the following areas of expertise:
  • Production – Skilled in mechanical wristwatch assembly, ensuring the highest quality standards (Lean Production)
  • Process – Expertise in planning assembly processes, resource allocation, and process optimization
  • Quality management – Proficient in quality planning throughout the product development lifecycle and skilled in quality control during assembly processes and supplier management, including selection and development
  • Logistics – Experienced in procurement, production, and distribution as well as in logistics planning
  • After Sales Service (SAV) – Responsible for the global SAV network organization and implementation in Switzerland
  • Collaborate closely with product development teams, particularly in simultaneous engineering within a matrix organizational structure, including the reporting function
  • Take charge of production planning and procurement requirements in coordination with sales
  • Supporting the interfaces between development, production, and sales

 

Your Qualifications

  • Completed education as a qualified mechanical engineer or equivalent
  • Demonstrated expertise with several years of experience in industrial manufacturing (vehicle construction, watch industry, precision engineering)
  • Possess a thorough understanding of both process and product dynamics
  • Experience in Lean Production and simultaneous engineering
  • Familiarity with quality management methods, ideally automotive standards
  • Advantageous to have experience in project management, particularly in construction and development projects
  • Strong leadership qualities and previous experience in leadership roles
  • Fluent proficiency in German, English, and French
  • Skilled in computer applications, including Office and ERP systems
  • Characterized by high resilience, enthusiasm, teamwork, and excellent communication abilities
