Ploom Consumer Experience Manager

Position purpose:

In line with the global JTI Corporate Strategy, the Ploom Brand Group is responsible for the long-term strategic development of the Ploom brand, a growing presence in the RRP Heated Tobacco category.

Ploom Consumer Experience Manager:

  • will work in the team developing global brand strategy, communication, and activation tools to build Ploom as a power brand in the RRP HT market.
  • will develop consumer programs to be delivered across all relevant touchpoints on the consumer journey in a full omnichannel way. This will be done according to the needs of the consumer, trade partners, JTI markets and the short and long-term commercial global business objectives.
  • will provide global leadership and consumer experience management expertise to stakeholders for the long-term strategic development of Ploom.

What will you do – responsibilities:

Developing multiple brand initiatives and programs to create a personalized Ploom consumer experience and build Ploom’s awareness, acquisition, and loyalty KPIs. The Consumer Experience Manager oversees the various points along the consumer journey.

  • Consumer Experience Strategies: Analyse existing touchpoints in the customer experience, identify gaps, identify areas for improvement and efficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain a strategic roadmap for the consumer journey.
  • Consumer Engagement & Activation programs: Based on market dynamics, performance, and consumer needs, deliver comprehensive set of programs and initiatives for JTI market use that engage the consumer on all stages of their consumer journey, from awareness through to loyalty and advocacy through merchandising, retail, ambassadors, and digital touchpoints amongst others. Conduct sprint or pilot tests with markets to address consumer pain points and propose actionable solutions.
  • Brand Management: act as subject matter expert to ensure all initiatives build towards the broader brand vision and ensure cohesive implementation of the strategy and key equities. Provide quality and timely input for A&SP, SPC, Regional clarification sessions for the Ploom brand. Point of contact for new/existing markets and responsible for brand introduction support. Represent the brand team in key forums and update meetings to ensure markets/regions are aware of key initiatives.
  • Diverse cross-functional projects – deliver strategic brand portfolio initiatives that require collaboration with the full range of M&S Functions (BGs, Commercial Strategy, Strategic Insights, Digital Business Unit etc.) Continuously learn and deploy agile mindset and agile methodologies in daily work to drive efficient implementation of global initiatives, ensure timely communication and updates with key stakeholders
  • Budget ROI measurement: accurate planning and phasing delivering transparency and ensuring efficient utilization of available resources. Input into all HQ reporting requirements in a timely manner. The responsibilities include agencies management, budget management, strategic presentation for sharing with markets and senior management, regular alignment with key stakeholders throughout the business.

Who are we looking for – requirements:

  • University degree in Marketing or Business Administration
  • 6-10 years proven track record of accomplishments in brand management. International, cross-functional or RRP experience will be considered as a plus
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills. Curious and thrives in an environment that requires continuous learning and innovation
  • Track record of successful agency management and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, strong team player, positive energy, flexible and resourceful
  • Open to learning how to work in a corporate, complex, and at times political environment
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
