Your responsibilities

• Ensure that materials are properly ordered and delivered to the jobsite


• Assist in conducting job cost analysis, tracking costs and profits


• Prepare reports for management, clients, and customers


• Research and analyze suppliers, products, and plans to identify cost and logistics issues


• Coordinate with relevant departments and suppliers, and make recommendations for improvement


• Create and update BU/ vendor and material lists, and update database with product specs and quantities


• Maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) in all systems


• Assign, monitor, and delegate materials-related work


• Determine material needs for projects and oversee their procurement


• Update inventory and procurement systems


• Perform special projects as assigned

 

Your profile 

• High school diploma or equivalent. Degree in business, logistics, supply chain management preferred


• Fluent in French and  good professional use of English, German is a plus


• 5+ years proven experience in procurement, planning, inventory management, purchasing or a similar role


• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management with high precision products (Medical devices or Aerospace is an asset)


• Good command with ERP system material management, SAP is an asset


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and materials management systems


• Good oral and written communication skills


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
