System Engineer Multimedia and Network Technology

• Responsibility for project planning, design and integration of information and communication systems in vehicle modernization.
• Development of solutions for replacement or adaptation of existing systems.
• Development of system architectures and network topologies as well as the connection of additional systems to the network.
• Coordination of different departments.
• Adaptation and improvements in the field of cyber security of the existing vehicles from conception to implementation
• Identify the requirement for modernization based on availability of spare parts and -customer requirements
• Implementing the solution in the modernization project in collaboration with suppliers and under the leadership of the technical project manager
• Regular visit and exchange with the engineering team in Switzerland

• Several years of professional experience as a system or electrical engineer, ideally in plant construction or railroad engineering
• Interest in production processes and product life cycles as well as the associated assessment of solution concepts according to economic criteria.
• Strong in teamwork and in working independently
• Business fluent in German or English is necessary
• Other languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel (20-40%)
