Team Leader AR/AP - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

 

Join our Finance & Accounting Team team within Chemtech division in Switzerland as Team Leader AR/AP and become part of a successful company active in green and renewable technologies. Do you have a passion for leading and developing a team of accountants, while ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our dynamic and skilled finance team.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Technical and personnel management and development of the accounts receivable and payable team with three employees 
  • Responsible for the coordination, control, and reconciliation of the day-to-day operations in collaboration with the Finance Shared Service Center as well as for the continuous development and improvement of the respective processes
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation and clean-up
  • Responsible that the processes and controls in the OTC and PTP areas are appropriately documented, maintained, and applied (ICS) 
  • Preparation of weekly cash forecast in cooperation with Cash Controlling
  • Participation in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and OR as well as internal and external audits
  • Active support in various projects such as system implementations and process optimizations
     

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Completed federal diploma in finance and accounting or other education of equal value
  • First leadership experience
  • Min. five years of professional experience in a similar function, preferably in the industry and / or project accounting and in a Swiss registered company
  • Very good SAP FI/CO knowledge, further modules are a plus
  • VAT knowledge/understanding (CH at least, further countries are an advantage)
  • Solid MS Office user skills, especially Excel
  • Fluent English skills in spoken and written, good German skills
  • Enjoyment of operational activity, hands-on mentality 
  • Empathetic and cheerful personality with a flair for numbers, who can also handle hectic situations
  • Reliable and precise way of working as well as a customer-oriented attitude
