Job Description

In the position the Import/Export Coordinator is responsible to:

  • Pilot transportation of incoming shipments and coordinate receiving of the goods with the Warehouse Team
  • Track released orders on a timely basis and ensure on-time shipments to customers
  • Prepare export documentation to European and worldwide customers
  • Communicate in a proactive and efficient way at all levels internally with other departments and externally with our partners distribution of our products to customers worldwide
  • Control freight costs and duties/taxes invoices to ensure billing correctness and accuracy
  • Conduct research and monitor transportation methods, rates and routes

 

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship or commercial basic training in an international or freight forwarding company
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as import/export clerk
  • Very good English skills, both spoken and written. German and/or French skills are a plus
  • Excellent skills with MS Office, especially in-depth know-how with Excel is required
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Flexible, resilient and team-oriented personality
