PLM Excellence Business Analyst

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team is responsible for the IT design and the implementation of new or changed end-to-end PLM processes at METTLER TOLEDO. In order to strengthen our functional area, we are looking for our operational headquarter in Greifensee for an PLM Excellence Business Analyst (all genders).
In this role, your responsibilities would include: 

• Guide business units in understanding of and adherence to PLM process templates (e.g., New Product Development and Introduction)


• Assess the maturity level of PLM processes within business units and make recommendations for improvements


• Identify and document business requirements based on gaps between template processes and business process needs


• Set up and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to quantitatively analyze business requirements


• Explain business needs to template process owners and solution architects to handover requirements for development


• Assist with delivery of new solutions to business units – training, support, etc.


• Other duties may be assigned

What You Need to Succeed Following requirements are necessary for this role: 

• You have at least a Master's degree in engineering and data science / analytics


• You bring a minimum of 5 years of work experience with PLM processes in a global organization (New Product Development & Introduction, Engineering Change Management, Product Discontinuation, etc.) 


• You have experience with large-scale business transformation projects (e.g., mass rollout or change of ERP or CAD system, etc.)


• You are proficient with Mechanical CAD Systems (Inventor and / or Creo), Power BI and Teamcenter data structure


• Excellent skills in SAP data tables and security / authorization structure and in SAP engineering, procurement, and production transactions


• Proficient communication skills in English is required with a fluent second language (preferred in German, Spanish and / or Chinese)
