Compliance Officer

In this newly created role you support and consult our organization to ensure products and business activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with relevant regulations, laws and standards. We are looking for a business-oriented person who has a deep understanding of compliance regulations and is able to make sound and efficient decisions to find the best possible solutions for the company.

This is what you can move

  • Work closely with our Head Group Compliance in enhancing the compliance  program,  the compliance organization and the compliance management  system of the Medela Group
  • Take over responsibility for global compliance assessment processes in connection with third parties throughout the entire value chain
  • Act as compliance contact person for group-internal compliance functions in  Medela’s affiliates
  • Ensure compliance reporting and auditing according to industry standards

What you bring along

  • Higher education such as FH/University degree in law or economics or an equivalent education/ training (e.g. Diploma of Advanced Studies in Compliance Management, etc.)
  • Working experience in a compliance function, ideally within the MedTech industry in a mid-sized or larger international company
  • Strong analytical skills and mind set with the ability to work thoroughly, flexibly and independently, and to take clear decisions
  • Excellent communicator and team player who likes to take full ownership of tasks and area of responsibility
  • Solution oriented with a pragmatic approach and readiness to closely collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to support the business
  • Very good command of German and English; other languages are an asset
