You are responsible for efficiently managing the maintenance and operations of the SAP Applications Technical Architecture, including Basis and Security functions. You play a key role in the identification, planning, documentation, installation of new features and connecting applications, and coordination of Basis and Security for the Medela Group. This is what you can move

• Coordinate SAP Basis, Security and Authorization initiatives, ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems on premise and hosted in the cloud
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to execute incidents, change requests, and service requests in accordance with Medela guidelines
• Execute SAP Basis Service and Change requests, and interact and coordinate changes with the SAP RISE Private Cloud Service Team
• Coordinate functionality releases including Out of Band changes, and ensure Medela policies are adhered to
• Coordinate and perform transport management activities for release, Out of Band Changes, upgrades, and refreshes of non-productive systems
• Drive automation and optimization efforts to minimize unplanned system outages
• Contribute to defining the technical IT strategy and consult functional teams on technical implications of their initiatives.

What you bring along

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent
• Deep understanding of SAP ERP and BW systems, as well as SAP security concepts, tools, and applications, ideally in a S/4 environment
• Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within an international environment
• Business fluency in English is required; additional language skills, such as German, are an asset
• Extensive experience in SAP Basis, Security and Authorization concepts and processes is a must
• Track record of successful collaboration with internal and external teams
• Knowledge of global business applications and process management, including SAP and Salesforce
• IT Infrastructure know-how to allow efficient problem solving with supporting teams
• Understanding of IT strategy development and execution
