Our new ETH Alumni Engagement team within the Office of the President is mandated with the conceptualisation, implementation and further development of the alumni work of ETH Zurich. Our goal is to establish and develop an attractive offer for ETH alumni, bring them closer to ETH, and activate a vibrant, global community. We are seeking a creative and committed Communications Specialist to join our team and help to effectively convey the mission and values of ETH Zürich to diverse audiences.

Job description

Your responsibilities include executing communication strategies to engage alumni through various channels, a dedicated alumni platform and website content. You organise and participate in editorial meetings, coordinate mailings and other alumni communications (newsletters, articles, digital content, social media) and are responsible for their distribution. You develop relevant communications templates in accordance with ETH branding guidelines, you coordinate the revamp of the website in collaboration with the relevant provider and ETH Corporate Communications and ensure the integration with our new Knowledge Network, the AI-powered alumni community network of ETH. Furthermore you help to curate content in the Knowledge Network, work with the editorial team and our digital content provider to help develop new content, marketing collateral and promotional materials for our products, services and events. You are also first contact point of all incoming requests from external sources (sponsors, partners, alumni benefits, etc.) The position is initially limited until December 2025 with an option to extend.

Your profile

• Background and degree in Marketing and Communications and several years of experience in the field of digital marketing and communications
• Familiarity with web content management, in particular Adobe Experience Manager
• Professional experience with databases and CRM systems
• Good graphic design skills (digital and print)
• Enjoy working in an international university environment
• Excellent language skills in both English and German (oral and written)
