The Position

A healthier future. That’s what drives us.

Roche Molecular Diagnostics is a leading developer and producer of innovative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests. Our tests, which include products for Infectious Diseases, HPV, blood screening, and point of care, are utilized worldwide by researchers, doctors, hospitals, laboratories, and blood banks. As part of our Product Care teams, you will play a crucial role in investigating and implementing changes for on-market products, driven by customer complaints or business requirements.

We are seeking an inspiring leader to oversee Product Care (PC) activities for all Infectious Disease (mID) products in an agile environment. In this role, you will empower your team to conduct complex investigations, implement necessary changes, and provide valuable technical expertise to support other functions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Represent PC-mID in cross-functional teams, evaluating the impact of product issues on patient safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Propose sustainable and reasonable solutions that consider the perspectives of all stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on customers and patients.

  • Recognize the urgency and importance of customer complaints, and take appropriate action.

  • In a complex and busy environment, you ensure pragmatic, fast and efficient decisions. Make decisions in compliance with international regulations, ensuring readiness for future audits.

  • Act as a servant leader and coach for a team of highly skilled and independent technical experts, allowing them autonomy in their daily work. However, you are also adept at recognizing complex situations and providing support to help the team navigate the best path forward.

  • Share your expertise from field issues, innovative thinking, and a supportive attitude with other technical project leaders, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Assay Development Chapter.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Several years of experience with automated molecular diagnostic IVD products and familiarity with international IVD regulatory requirements.

  • Solid experience in root-cause investigations, preferably using standard tools such as 5Why, Fishbone, Fault-Tree, FMEA.

  • Experience as a "servant leader," embodying the VACC model. Strong collaboration, decision-making and influence management skills. Ability to analyze situations quickly and find solutions to complex challenges.

  • Knowledge and experience in data management, with the ability to implement digital strategies to investigate and improve products.

  • A university degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field is a plus.

If you are a patient centric and resilient leader who strives to bring the best product to our customers, then this is the role for you.
