This role involves working closely with finance business groups to identify, design, and implement solutions that perfectly align with their specific needs. We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate others while taking a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a IT Consultant Financial Consolidation, you will be part of an agile and highly skilled team working in an innovative, dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will interact with internal customers and contribute to projects, enhancements, and maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the maintenance and enhancements of the Roche’s Group financial consolidation and reporting solutions, mainly SAP Financial Consolidation, SSAS cube for data analysis, ETL solutions and interfaces from SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANA Finance.

  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working and supporting the Financial Consolidation product manager, other IT & business stakeholders to identify and implement improvement opportunities and to deliver the product roadmap.

  • Ensuring effective and appropriate mapping of business needs to technology. Ensuring that the solution fits the Roche end-to-end process design including systems and interfaces.

  • Supporting projects and initiatives in the area of accounting, consolidation and external reporting such as the replacement of our legacy Financial Consolidation Software (SAP BFC).

  • Creating technical design documents.

  • Facilitating and validating system and user acceptance testing.

  • Supporting Group Finance teams, Roche Service & Solutions operations centers and local Finance teams in regards to our Financial Consolidation solutions, including helpdesk support activities during the monthly closing process.

Who you are

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent field of studies.

  • Broad experience working as Business Solution Analyst in Finance Consolidation in an global environment

  • Deep understanding of finance business processes in the area of financial close cycle and consolidation.

  • Knowledge on related technologies (SQL database structure, SSAS cube and ETL solutions)

  • Experience in implementing financial consolidation solutions and strong practical experience maintaining financial consolidation systems.

  • Business-focused, results-oriented approach, with excellent coordination and communication skills.
